Terms and conditions when booking and paying for a pitch at Backamo Campsite

These conditions apply between the Foundation Backamo Lägerplats and the person who himself or through another person books/pays for a pitch at Backamo Lägerplats.

The booking/payment applies to the rental of a pitch at Backamo Lägerplats. Customers/guests at Lägerplatsen are obliged to follow Backamo Lägerplatsen Regulations. The rules of procedure can be found in their entirety at: backamolagerplats.se/ordningsregler

Customers/guests who do not comply with these regulations have the right to reject the campsite staff from the area.

Booking and payment for private individuals

To book and pay for a pitch on the website boka.backamolagerplats.se, the customer must be at least 18 old. To be able to complete the payment of the fee, a bank card or Swish and BankId are required. Payment is made directly, also when booking.

Reservation of place

The price includes the rental of a pitch and, optionally, connection including the consumption of electricity (10 amperes). A booking fee of SEK 30 is added. All places are booked from 14:00 to 14:00.

It is your responsibility as a customer to ensure a safety distance of at least 4 meters to any neighbor and building.

Payment/Booking confirmation

On receipt of the booking confirmation, this must be checked, so that all information is correct. It is the customer's responsibility to ensure that the information on the booking confirmation is correct. Booking confirmation is sent via e-mail and as a text message (SMS). In the event of an error, Backamo Lägerplats must be contacted within 7 days of receiving the confirmation, but no later than 24 hours before arrival.

All prices are in SEK and include VAT.

Cancellation of booked place

Cancellation can only be done online via the link you received in the booking confirmation. The booking fee is not refunded in case of cancellation.

Cancellation 48 hours before the booking starts non-refundable.

Charging of electric vehicles

Charging of electric vehicles is prohibited and is not included in the daily rent. In the event of unauthorized charging, a fee of SEK 750 per charge is payable.

Liability for property/causing damage

The customer takes care of the protection the customer considers necessary, such as liability, vehicle, accident and luggage insurance.

Backamo Lägerplats is not responsible for damage or loss caused by third parties, nor for things left behind.

Other obligations and rules of procedure

The customer undertakes to take good care of the facility, follow the rules of order, instructions and regulations that apply, and ensure that fellow travelers/own visitors do the same.

Note in particular:

• The customer/Estonians must between 22:00 and 08:00 observe the greatest consideration and silence towards other guests.
• Regulations for safety distances when setting up caravans, mobile homes and tents must be followed. The distance between two camping vehicles or between a camping vehicle and a tent should be at least four metres. The distance between two tents should be at least three meters. Distance to buildings should at least four meters.
• Do not disturb the tranquility of the area with a motor vehicle more than absolutely necessary. Drive at walking speed and as short distances as possible.
• Leave the common areas in the same condition as you would like to find them.
• On the own pitch, grilling is only permitted with electricity or gas. Grilling with charcoal may only take place at places specially designed for grilling within the Campsite area. Consider the risk of fire, review your extinguishing equipment.
• Each outlet is 10 amps. Overcharging risks knocking out all or parts of our electricity network. In case of obvious misuse, we reserve the right to invoice the repair costs. One withdrawal per crew.
• Instructions for source sorting of rubbish must be followed. Please note that only household waste is handled at Backamo Lägerplats.
• Dogs must not be loose within the boundaries of the campsite. Remember that some people are afraid of dogs and show respect. Pick up after the dog. Garbage cans are available in the area.
• Smoking is only permitted in the own pitch. Otherwise, we strive for a smoke-free area.
• Payment of the fee takes place online.

Breach of contract

This is an agreement drawn up between the customer (orderer) and Stiftelsen Backamo Lägerplats.
The agreement ceases to apply with immediate effect if:

• The conditions in this document are not met.
• The customer/guests in the party behave in a disruptive manner in the area.
• The customer/guests in the party commit vandalism in the area.

If a breach of contract occurs, the customer/guests in the party must immediately move from the Campsite. In the event of destruction or disruptive behaviour, Backamo Lägerplats can claim damages from the customer.

Force majeure

In the event of war, natural disasters, strikes, pandemics and other events that can be regarded as force majeure, Backamo Lägerplats can cancel the agreement, whereby the customer and guests must be notified as soon as possible. In such cases, Backamo Lägerplats is obliged to repay the amount paid, with the exception of the benefit that has been derived from the site.
